This weeks Tuesday'spiration

What is a Tuesday'spiration without mentioning the imfamous Miss janelle monae. She is fabulous fierce and beatiful. I admire her music and her hair, she is wicked wicked wa wa west (umm yh I dunno what that was but hey no words can really describe her because she is that good).

She just speaks for herself and so does that photograph. That is all I have to say.

Sunday Portrait

So I know It's not Sunday but I thought that I would start as I mean to go on (even though I am a day late oh well). My hair is looking cray in the photo but I really like, yeah I look tiered but I had just finished work so hey there you go. On the weekend I wore a curly afro to work and I think I offended people or they just didn't know what to make of it (wild thats what they thought), it just me its just hair I don't get why everyone is so obsessed. Well I'm washing my hair so it has gone for now until it comes back mwahhhhhhh lol.

Omg its almost February can you believe it no well I can't either. It marks 6months since I had my last relaxer. Oh how time flies when you having fun. So have another 18 months until I meet my natural hair goal. Anyways enough chatter.

In love with Essence

I remember as a young child my I used to say to my mother "what about herbal essences?", and she would be like "oh not mica, that's not for black people hair",  so for me there has always been that myth that it wouldn't work on my hair. But now as I've gotten to know my hair,  it's just all about what suits your hair.  I've been using Hello Hydration for about 2 years now as my conditioner. I firstly used it to co-wash, and I couldn't for the life of me tell you why I started using it I just picked it up and I've been using it ever since. My hair loves it. Its not the most natural of products but it works for me. So I say try it if you like it (it's 2pound in Tesco at the moment so got get it ).

So I first came across the Herbal Essenes Beautiful Ends watching Lalia-Jean's youtube channel Fusion of Cultures. She uploaded the video 2 years ago she did say that they didn't do this product in england and that she had got it from america, but that was 2 years ago so I was hopping that it finally had come over and when I saw it I was happy as larry to see it on the shelf. I feel this product has saved me from alot of breakage and I've been using it for the past 3 months. I know this may be something very simple but I like the fact that it has a pump so you can control how much comes out, making sure your not waiting too much of the product.  I cant really say a bad word about it, apart from for me it doesn't work for me on my dry hair it leaves residue in my hair, which is not a good look, but overall it would recommend it for all long term transitioners.

             So all that I have to left to day is I'm in love with Herbal Eccence.

Tuesday'spiration

So I have decided that tuesdays are gonna be my TUESDAY'SPIRATONS (see what I did there tuesday, inspiration lol). I will be posting hair inspiration either, hair that I've seen on tumblr, from a blog, celebrity. 

So this week it's ZIZZI from ZIZZI's WARDROBE. I posted an image of her on tumblr before I knew who she was or even read her blog. I love her box braid, may I say they are cool (cool what an uncool word to say but I really don't care because they are). I keep saying I'm going to get box braids but I never do, soon one day I will. I don't think I will rock them as good a her but I could only try.
